Le TAC sono un importante strumento diagnostico per lo screening, la diagnosi e la valutazione dei casi di polmonite indotti da Covid-19. Poliambulanza Brescia e SORINT.tek stanno sviluppando un sistema per la raccolta delle TAC e l’annotazione automatica delle stesse per identificare le regioni con presenza di lesioni associate alla presenza di polmonite. Il sistema può essere utilizzato per screening dei casi e per valutare la progressione della malattia nei pazienti poiché è in grado di fornire in poche decine di secondi una valutazione quantitativa dell’area polmonare interessata dalle lesioni.

For decades, a sharp divide was drawn between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). Only recently has there emerged a data-centric approach to IoT applications that seeks to bridge the gap between the IT and OT universes. The objective is to create a single, unified data plane that extends across the enterprise, from edge computing devices right into corporate data centers. This “edge-to-cloud” approach requires a new software stack that emphasizes low latency, high reliability, and flexible data models. This session presents a modern “edge-to-cloud” reference architecture and discusses strategies for building data-centric IoT applications using Hazelcast as an example technology.

In-memory data grid (IMDG) hosts Fast Data with microsecond read/write latency providing an ideal platform for implementing real-time transactional applications. To provide optimal performance, IMDG typically stores operational data that can readily be used as is by applications without performing further transformation. In this presentation, we explore how we keep IMDG in sync with the systems of record such as databases that have much higher latency, and at the same time, transform raw data to operational data by employing Change Data Capture (CDC) aggregation strategies.

Ciò che comunemente chiamiamo "rivoluzione digitale" ha in sé un potente potenziale di arricchimento del modo in cui noi organizziamo il nostro pensiero in funzione del raggiungimento di specifici obiettivi. Tale nocciolo è chiamato "pensiero computazionale", e vi sono ragioni per pensare che esso sia una dotazione preziosa nella formazione cognitiva dell'individuo. Al momento, esso non è per noi ancora materia di insegnamento, anche se diversi studi autorevoli ne stanno mettendo in luce il potenziale positivo. Come ogni dotazione cognitiva, lo sviluppo delle capacità di pensiero computazione è tanto più utile ed efficace quanto più è tempestivo.

Mimetismo e analisi dei dati nell'infosfera.L'attuale societa` dell'informazione raccoglie dati capillari sui nostri comportamenti informatici, spesso allo scopo di sfruttarli per fini commerciali, politici o perfino truffaldini. Quasi sempre i dati raccolti sono riconducibili agli individui che li hanno generati, con potenziale danno per la riservatezza e intimità delle persone. A cio` si tenta di porre rimedio con provvedimenti legali che risultano assai costosi e spesso inefficaci. Sono state studiate, pero`, anche tecniche di analisi in grado di preservare informazioni aggregate laddove il legame con il singolo dato personale e` cancellato: cio` fornisce la speranza che sia possibile ripensare in maniera piu` rispettosa dei diritti civili gli attuali modelli di sviluppo. Queste innovazioni trovano oggi applicazioni in molteplici ambiti tra cui la guida autonoma, la gestione del traffico veicolare e diverse applicazioni industriali e di sicurezza. Sacbo, in partnership con SORINT.tek, si è dotata di un sistema che identifica l’ingresso in aree definibili dall’utente e specifiche per ogni telecamera di persone e veicoli. Il livello di confidenza degli allarmi è massimizzato grazie ad una significativa riduzione del numero dei falsi allarmi generati da questo sistema di visione artificiale rispetto ai sistemi tradizionali di motion detection.
